Eligibility and Application

To take part in the Google AI Professional Certificate programme, participants must:

Essential Criteria

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Live in the UK
  • Be currently employed, self-employed, unemployed, or seeking work
  • Have an interest in developing AI skills for work
  • Have access to an email address

Priority Groups

Priority will be given to people who:
  • Work in administration
  • Work in secretarial or office support roles
  • Work in customer service
  • Work in sales
  • Carry out data entry tasks
  • Are seeking employment in these sectors
  • Have limited previous experience of AI tools
  • Would benefit from improving their digital skills and employability

Commitment Required

Participants are expected to:
  • Complete registration and baseline surveys
  • Engage with the learning programme
  • Complete the online course within 3 months
  • Participate in evaluation activities where requested
  • Complete an end-of-programme feedback survey
Wavemaker will provide support throughout the programme to help participants successfully complete the course and gain their Google AI Professional Certificate.
