This national programme is designed to help people build essential AI skills, gain foundational knowledge, and earn an Official Professional Qualification. The initiative is funded by a wider £1.1 million grant from Google.org, aiming to equip more than 11,000 people nationwide with the tools they need for the future.
At Wavemaker, our goal is to enrol 500 people onto the programme between now and January 2028.
- The Platform: You’ll complete the course online via Coursera.
- The Timeline: The learning period spans three months.
- The Support: You won’t be doing this alone. Wavemaker will be by your side the entire time, helping you navigate the platform and supporting you through to graduation.
- The Reward: An official Google Professional Certificate to supercharge your CV.
While anyone looking to boost their tech skills is welcome, this programme is specifically designed to support people working in sectors that are experiencing the biggest shifts due to artificial intelligence.
If you or someone you know works in these fields, this is your sign to upskill:
- Secretarial & Administration
- Customer Service
- Sales
- Data Entry
Only a select number of trusted organisations within the Good Things Foundation network were chosen to deliver this national programme.
"We’re incredibly honoured not only to have been shortlisted, but to have actually secured the funding, Wavemaker is proud to be one of them." - Ben McManus.
This new AI programme joins our existing roster of digital inclusion tools, including our DigitAll learning platform, which offers 43 online courses (including 23 CPD-accredited courses) to help you keep learning and growing.
